Feta Cheese and Vegetable Pasta

After been living abroad for several years I have developed a taste for different cuisines available here. Pasta has been one of my favorites among all the cuisines. This particular recipe is more of an online trend that has been going on all over the Social Media. Generally. I don't cook pasta as in the recipe but it is a whole nine yard process. The most famous from the one's that I prepare are Shrimp Linguine and Red Sauce Penne Pasta. With the ongoing Pasta trend on Instagram, I too had to fall prey to it. I could not resist to see how quick and tasty this recipe would turn out. It was definitely a time saver and was relished by every member of family. I used Spaghetti pasta for this dish, but you can try any type of Pasta. I am sure the results will be the same :)

Let's have a look at the recipe.

Ingredients:

1 small sized sliced Onion
3-4 Asparagus cut in halfves
6-7 Cherry Tomatoes
1 whole Feta cheese
5-6 minced Garlic
3-4 Basil Leaves
2 cups Boiled Pasta
1 tsp Black Pepper
1 tbsp Red Chili Flakes
1 tbsp of Italian Seasoning
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Oregano leaves
1 tbsp Cayenne Pepper (It is optional, as feta can make the pasta too bland hence a bit of spice)

Method:
In a baking tray add tomatoes, asparagus and onions. Sprinkle Salt and black pepper evenly over all ingredients. Mix them with hand
Place the block of Feta cheese in between the baking tray
Sprinkle Red Chili flakes and some black pepper on the cheese.
Sprinkle Italian Seasoning, Oregano leaves and Cayenne pepper on all the ingredients evenly.
Drizzle olive oil on all ingredients.
Bake it for 20 mins @ 400 degrees.
Remove it from Oven and with the help of a fork smash the tomatoes and separate the melted cheese.
Add chopped basil and boiled pasta to the pan and mix all ingredients well.
Serve Hot.
